Tim McGaughy - Instructor

Tim McGaughy

Personal Statement:
I have been playing the guitar since the late '60s and have played in an extensive variety of musical settings.  Teaching is something I really enjoy.  My philosophy is based on training applied to years of study and performance.  A teacher needs patience, reasonable playing skills, the ability to communicate well and common sense.

Mancini a treat for her audience.

"A quiet version of "Baby Mine" (from Disney's "Dumbo"), performed with the backing of only guitarist Tim McGaughy, was gorgeously intimate. "A Love Before Time," from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," was similarly heartbreaking."
